SPRING HILL — A more than 500-acre development around Rippavilla Plantation could bring new jobs, hotels, banks, a movie theater and office parks to the city.
The development, proposed by SLF Acquisition, a purchasing arm of an as-yet unnamed company, showed off plans for the property at the Planning Commission’s Monday meeting. The board approved a rezoning of the property by a 3-1 vote at the meeting, with Commissioner Gwynne Evans dissenting.
A second and final vote is expected from the Board of Mayor and Aldermen in December.
